My First-Ever Hackathon, not as a participant but as a judge.
Today marks a significant milestone in my journey as Anderson Lam Wei Cheng, as I have been bestowed with the privilege of serving as a judge for Cupertino's largest collegiate hackathon, De Anza Hacks 2.0! 🚀 This exceptional event gathered over 120 brilliant students from De Anza College, each radiating with inventive enthusiasm. It was a truly humbling experience to evaluate the creative projects of more than 40 teams, standing alongside distinguished individuals such as Sophia Kim, Alexander Goldberg, Faaris Khilji, and Mary Pape.
As I took my place at the judging panel, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and responsibility. The atmosphere was electric with the palpable energy of innovation, a testament to the remarkable talent and dedication of the participating students. Their passion for technology and problem-solving was infectious, and I found myself immersed in a sea of groundbreaking ideas.
